Office: Remote currently, usually based in Leeds

The ideal candidate will have a performance driven approach to development. They’ll be comfortable working autonomously, as well as confidently contributing to and communicating with a small team of skilled front-end developers and a variety of external partners.
Outstanding people skills are a must, as managing a team, building rapport with clients and being comfortable delivering pitches are all key elements of this role.
An understanding of UX and how to identify and solve basic problems relating to user experience is a given. You’ll also be expected to utilise bleeding-edge technology, and with robust techniques, you’ll build a variety of tools to aid and enhance user experience and data collection, including design systems, progressive apps, voice and chat bot integrations.
Working quickly and creatively should come naturally to you, as well as being an innovative problem-solver who takes pride in producing logical, simple and effective solutions to what are often very new and complex issues.
Essential requirements include:
- Templating systems
- Knowledge of REST/GraphQL
- Gulp, Webpack
- Appreciation for web application security techniques
- Experience of working in agile and waterfall development environments
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to demonstrate Microsoft Office skills working across the most popular Office programs
Plus, it would be a bonus if you have a background in design, or experience in any of the following:
- Web components
- Unit/functional tests
- AWS/Google cloud
- Design systems
- Continuous development and deployment pipelines
