News just in: our team in South Africa have just appointed new Creative Director, Jacques Laubscher.

Jacques has over 14 years of industry experience, crafting local and international (and awarded) campaigns for the likes of YouTube, Google, Reebok and Unilever. His appointment not only continues South Africa’s growth in the world of digital and content but also builds upon the entrepreneurial spirit that has characterised the office’s first two years of operation.

Jacques joins Katherine Freemantle (Managing Director) and Catherine Mavrocoleas (Strategic Operations Director) who have led the South African team together for the past several years.

Upon joining the team, Jacques commented: “I really respect the team’s vision and dedication to creating work that is effective and impactful in the real world. I’m incredibly excited to get stuck in and see how we can take the creative even further.”

We are delighted to welcome a few other fresh faces to the South Africa team too. Please say hey to…

Ruva Gorowa - Copywriter, Social Media

Ruva is looking forward to pushing the boundaries of making cool stuff on and offline for some incredible brands. When not at work though, you can find her rug tufting and wandering around an art gallery. Another of her favourite places is her grandfather’s farm. Ruva says: “Zimbabwe’s beautiful and it’s where I feel most at home.”

Elizabeth Sun - Account Director

Elizabeth says she’s excited to grow in experience and take on more leadership opportunities in this new role. She loves spending time in the company of friends and family she loves, especially if she can combine it with her other loves of cooking and hiking.

Adrienne Visser - Conceptual Copywriter

Adrienne hopes to be a Creative Director one day. But she started out working life at a wine farm whilst she studied. Naturally, she counts wine tasting as one of her hobbies these days. Adrienne’s favourite place is Transkei, where the Nguni cows tan on the beaches – she says it makes you feel less self-conscious about your own rolls!

Likho Ndzunga - Experiential Project Manager

As a Project Manager, Likho enjoys making what seems like the impossible, possible. She also thinks she could be a professional napper though, if that exists as a job anywhere. Her favourite place is her mum’s home town, eLuyengweni. Likho loves the peace and calmness that comes with being home.
