Based on a truck load of data, Shutterstock have gone all Mystic Meg on us and attempted to predict some of the biggest trends for the upcoming year. They’ve taken image, video and music searches from their customers, smashed them all together and vomited out this magically mad infographic.

And I personally am loving every single bit of it. Mainly because it finally looks like what I’ve always deemed to be my unfortunately bad sense of taste is finally going to be right on trend.

It’s honestly like they’ve photographed my brain and whacked it on a webpage.

Clashy, tacky vibrancy? Up there as a major craze.

Raw, unpolished messiness? That’s my aesthetic every day, and it seems Shutterstock users are vibing it.

Childish cute kawaii? I’m a big fan, so obviously it’s on there.

Retro futurism? Yes. Love it. Tick. It features.

Trippy, trancey hypnotic sh*t? Hell they’re even predicting that’s going to be a big thing this year.

I literally couldn’t be any more of a trend icon. I am truly 2019’s muse.

So, in short, prepare for some chaotic, colourful and eclectic times ahead this year. I for one can’t wait!
