#IWD2020 at HOME

This year, the theme for International Women’s Day is #EachForEqual.

It’s all about Collective Individualism – how our individual actions, conversations, behaviours and mind-sets can have an impact on our larger society. So that collectively, we can make change happen.

We love that notion, and so this year we’re encouraging Homies to share their wisdom and get into discussions with others through a series of lunchtime sessions.

On Monday, Jessica will be talking us through confidence and courage, followed by Elle on Tuesday who will be looking at the contradictions of career advice. On Wednesday ,we have Nicole delving into the myth of the female brain, and our sessions will wind up on Thursday with Janie, who will be looking into the language we use and attributes we adopt for work.

We also wanted to do something beyond the walls of our office, to help women in our local area. So, all next week we’ll be collecting items to donate to Leeds Women’s Aid.
