Get your thinking cap on
This week we’ve taken part in School of Thought.
It’s an intensive 12-week training programme for hungry creatives who want to flex their creative muscles by learning how to develop and pitch big ideas. And this is the first time that it’s been in Leeds.
Every Monday evening the creatives meet a different agency, hear a talk and leave with a brief. They then return on the Thursday to pitch their ideas.
This week was our turn.
So, on Monday (over Zoom), we took the 10 creatives through a presentation about HOME, why slogans and straplines are super important, how they inform creative, some examples of great ones, some work we’ve done, and then set them the brief.
Their task? Come up with a new slogan or strapline for one of our long-standing clients.
As you can imagine, a varied range of ideas were presented back which showed some really nice thinking and interesting insights. It’s been a very fun couple of days and it’s great to see how the next up-and-coming creatives tackle briefs in such different ways.
